If you receive an email that looks like it’s from LEXX, but asks you for your password or social security number, it’s a fraudulent email, or “phish.” We recommend that you do the following:

If you believe “phishers” have gotten access to your personal or financial information, we recommend that you also do the following:

Change your password. Contact credit reporting services (such as Experian, Callcredit and Equifax) and have a fraud alert attached to your credit report file. Please be aware that the perpetrator may attempt to use your information to establish accounts or obtain credit at other businesses in your name.

USE OF COOKIES

Like most websites, LEXX uses cookies for a variety of purposes in order to improve and help personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. There are several different types of cookies and the LEXX website uses all of them; necessary cookies, performance cookies, and preference cookies.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize LEXX pages, or register with LEXX site or services, a cookie helps LEXX to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same LEXX website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the LEXX features that you customized.

Cookies are stored for different lengths of time depending on the type of cookie. Persistent cookies stay on your device indefinitely until they expire or are deleted by you. Session cookies only stay on your device until you have ended your browsing session.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the LEXX services or websites you visit.

If you use different devices to view and access websites (e.g., your computer, smartphone, tablet) you will need to ensure that each browser on each device is adjusted to suit your cookie preferences

The procedures for changing your settings and cookies differ from browser to browser. If necessary, use the help function on your browser or click on one of the links below to go directly to the user manual for your browser.
